As an aviation affected family, we have a lot of high altitude en route charts.
As a kid affected family, we have a lot of mess making craft supplies.
As a calendar watching mama, I feel compelled to re-decorate the mantle often. The kids love to see the changes and participate in the “fun”.
I don’t necessarily like that “February” means hearts, love, and pink. I love my family EVERYDAY- not just the day the calendar reminds me to.
My own issues aside, we dug out the felt, scrap fabric, glue, charts, old window, and paint…
