Ugh, I can identify. The two-year anniversary of my car accident (with an uninsured driver, of course!) is in August. I finally broke down and hired a lawyer, although I'm not convinced that I'll actually end up with more in my wallet when it's all over.

But the insurance company (and I'm dealing with *mine* since I was rear-ended by an uninsured motorist) is definitely not looking out for my best interests. And like you, I'm still in pain, still fighting with the insurance company. And looking at eventual back surgery since it looks like I'm not going to be among the 80 percent of people whose backs heal by themselves (or with a little PT) within two years. :P

Good luck, and hang in there!

Cute! At least the soap is a much more practical gift than the soup cans with glued-on macaroni and spray-painted gold that I used to make in school and give to my mother. Or the boxes made out of popsicle sticks. Or the bobby-pin holders made out of dishwashing detergent containers. Maybe the teachers in Kentucky were short on good gift ideas back in the day.

I've heard that Peonies can take a couple of years to bloom after they have been replanted. I have some that just started blooming after I replanted them about 3 years ago. I have one that I'm hoping will finally bloom. They are my favorite!

Snow in April is just silly. I'm so ready for the sun!

That's insane. If I woke up and saw that, I'd call in sick and go back to bed.

Seeing the weather in a picture makes it seem even colder. For the last few days, I have been wanting some of that global warming. The flowers are pretty in the snow.

I think it's more like 1/2 hour at a time. Anyway, you were a good sport when Herbie's mouth full of noodles ended up all over your face. Everyone had a good laugh.
