Produce Bag with Organic Apples

I’m not sure if I am more excited about finishing this bag or the great price I got on the organic apples!

I picked up my knitting again and just like that I have 3 projects going!  Bigweld needs a new hat.  The last hat I made for him is WAY too small.  I offered to buy him a new one, but he wanted nothing to do with that.  So, I found some yarn in my “studio” (that just sounds so much nicer/craftier/cleaner than “basement”) that matches his coat nicely.  Hopefully, he will love this new hat as much as he loved the last one.

My second project is a scarf with two ruffles on each end.  I am using Cascade 220 Superwash.  It matches a hat I made for a friend.  I already gave the hat and would like to pass on the scarf before spring soccer starts.  I am loosing interest quickly in this project.

Lastly, my third work in progress utilizes a new guilty pleasure -Sensations Angel Hair Stripes.  It is a wool/nylon/acrylic blend available at Joann’s.  I usually turn my nose up at acrylic anything, but this stuff is lovely…and fun!  I have been commissioned (that just sounds nicer than “my mother-in-law asked me…”) to make a Christmas gift.  It is going to be wonderfully warm and pretty.

Tomorrow I am going to my sisters’ to craft.  I am not quite sure what we are going to make, but she has something in mind.  The day promises to be good and productive.  I just hope I don’t spill the glitter this time.
